The service

BusinessLipTools provides free, browser-based calculators and generators for business and money calculations. The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.

Calculations are guidance

Results are computed from the figures and rates you enter. They are estimates provided for general information and checking purposes. They are not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for professional advice about your specific circumstances. Tax rates, thresholds and rules change and differ by jurisdiction; interest and fee arrangements depend on your contracts. Verify important figures independently before acting on them, and consult a qualified professional for decisions of consequence.

Acceptable use

You may use the tools for your own business or personal purposes, including commercially. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, misrepresent its results as certified or official documents, or use output to deceive third parties. Documents produced with the invoice generator are your documents: you are responsible for their accuracy, numbering and compliance with the invoicing rules that apply to you.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code belong to BusinessLipTools or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers them to you. What you create with the tools — your figures, your invoices, your documents — is yours.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the tools' output, from the site being unavailable, or from errors in figures you entered. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of business. We may update the terms; the version posted here, with its date, is the version that applies.
